The Great Movie Ride

The Great Movie Ride at Disney's Hollywood Studios theme park is an attraction for all ages that celebrates Hollywood and the history of film.

The thrill begins when you enter the full-scale reproduction of Hollywood's historic Grauman's Chinese Theatre. As you wander through the lobby of the theater, check out the rotating exhibit of costumes, props and set pieces on display, which may include a pair of Dorothy's ruby slippers from the classic The Wizard of Oz. Then you're ushered onto The Great Movie Ride for a journey that'll put you in the middle of the action from gritty gangster flicks of the 1930s to the adventure of contemporary classics such as Raiders of the Lost Ark—and provide a few surprises along the way, too!

The American Idol Experience

The American Idol Experience at Disney's Hollywood Studios Theme Park offers you the chance to watch, perform and vote for favorite singers.

The excitement unfolds before your eyes. This exhilarating attraction features all the glitz and glamour of the hit television series' stunning set, and gives you an opportunity to experience the thrill as if really at the show.

Decide who has what it takes. Determine the destiny of the singers onstage by voting as a member of the attraction audience on your interactive keypad at your seat.

The challenge of auditioning. A star could be born— who just might be you! The American Idol Experience provides select Guests with an opportunity to audition and sing onstage!

Sounds Dangerous with Drew Carey

Ready to go undercover with a television detective? Check out what happens when Drew Carey takes to the small screen as an actor playing a gumshoe who bungles his first on-camera case. When the hidden camera in his tie gets damaged, the video disappears and the theater is plunged into total darkness—leaving you to listen in as the hilarious mystery unfolds.

Upon your entry into the theater, you will be given state-of-the-art headphones which you will wear throughout the show. When the lights go out and the mayhem begins, experience crystal-clear sound through the use of biaural audio technology, where a multitude of unique sounds will seemingly come at you from all directions.
