Theme Parks And Resorts

Walt Disney Parks and Resorts division was

founded as Walt Disney Attractions in 1971

when Disney's 2nd theme park, the Magic

Kingdom that is situated at the Florida’s

Walt Disney World Resort, opened, joining

the famous original Disneyland in California.

James A. "Jay" Rasulo is the famous chairman

of Walt Disney Resorts and Parks, and formerly

the chairman of Paris Disneyland Resort. The

famous Disneyland was founded as a single

park in 1955 by Walt Disney in Anaheim, California.

And in 2001, this area was officially named the

Disneyland Resort just with the opening of

Disney's Adventure Park in California, the

Downtown Disney entertainment, retail, and

dining district, and two new resort hotels. And

the fiftieth anniversary of Disneyland was

celebrated on July 17, 2005.

Disney's Coranado Springs
