Ongoing Renovations/Important Information:
There are various refurbishment projects taking
place at Disney's Contemporary Resort. The projects consist of the following:
The tennis courts will be closed
until further notice. Guests may use other Walt Disney World® Resort tennis courts as an alternative. There are tennis
courts located at Disney's Beach Club Resort, Disney Boardwalk Inn, Disney's Grand Floridian, and Disney's Yacht
Club.
The North Garden Wing is currently undergoing renovations. The work will be ongoing until complete. The North
Garden Wing is completely closed off and inaccessible to guests.
The playground is under refurbishment and will
be closed to Guests. The work area is screened off to guests. An end date for the refurbishment has not yet been determined.
Important Information:
As of June 1, 2007, all Disney owned and operated resort hotels at the Walt
Disney World Resort will become smoke free environments. This applies to all guestrooms, patios and balconies. Smoking is
currently prohibited in all lobbies, common areas, restaurants and convention spaces. Smoking will be permitted in designated
outdoor smoking locations only.
Effective immediately, guests will no longer be able to request a smoking room
for arrivals after May 1, 2007. The resorts will be in a transitional phase to update guest rooms for the smoke free policy. Check-in Time

Within 30 miles (48km) HOTEL POLICIESCancellations made inside of 5 days prior to arrival incur
a 1 night hotel penalty and applicable product penalties. Walt Disney World reservations must be booked with the
