Overview

Relax as lush gardens, warm breezes and the distant sound of steel drums beckon. Five brightly-colored "island" villages surround a sparkling 45-acre lake with sand beaches, heated "quiet" pools, a marina, bike rentals, and a nature trail. A lively shopping bazaar, food court, table service dining and two lounges give this resort the color of the Caribbean at an affordable price.

Renovations/Important Information:
As of June 1, 2007, all Disney owned and operated resort hotels at the Walt Disney World Resort will become smoke free environments. This applies to all guestrooms, patios and balconies. Smoking is currently prohibited in all lobbies, common areas, restaurants and convention spaces. Smoking will be permitted in designated outdoor smoking locations only.

Effective immediately, guests will no longer be able to request a smoking room for arrivals after May 1, 2007. The resorts will be in a transitional phase to update guest rooms for the smoke free policy.

Old Port Royale Feature Pool will be closed for renovation beginning January 8, 2008. Expected completion date is October 15, 2008. During this time, Guests may continue to use the six leisure pools located throughout the resort. Additionally, waterslides for children will be added at the Barbados and Jamaica village pools and enhanced children's recreation activities. Only one of the six pools on the property will be closed and two others will be enhanced to ensure minimal guest impact.

Cancellations made inside of 5 days prior to arrival incur a 1 night hotel penalty and applicable product penalties.

Walt Disney World reservations must be booked with the correct guest names. A complete name change to the lead name is considered a cancellation and will require a new reservation.

A major credit card and photo I.D. is required upon check-in to cover phone or incidental charges.

Guests attending a convention at the hotel may not use this package for their stay. If found attending a convention, guests may be charged directly by the hotel.
