Fun for all ages and experience levels, Animation Academy invites you to receive step-by-step instruction with others on how to illustrate some of your favorite Disney characters under the guidance of a Disney artist.

The animation process is on full display at this exhibit that includes a spectacular Toy Story Zoetrope plus rare artifacts.

A zoetrope is a device that flashes a series of still images to produce the illusion of motion. Instead of using traditional, one-dimensional drawings, the Toy Story Zoetrope features three-dimensional figures of characters from the Disney•Pixar film series Toy Story—including Woody, Jessie and Bullseye—to demonstrate how sculptures can easily become fully animated in the eye of the beholder.

Join Mike and Sully in Monstropolis as they try to get Boo back to her bedroom in this attraction inspired by the hit film.

Muppet*Vision 3D

Experience the hilarity of the Muppets during a fun-filled, eye-popping film and live-action extravaganza.

Make your way onto an expansive soundstage filled with kooky movie-making props—and enter the wild and crazy world of the Muppets! On monitors overhead, watch a zany pre-show presentation starring Gonzo, Rizzo the Rat, Scooter and many more of your Muppet friends as they frantically prepare for the big show.

Sorcerer's Workshop

Learn how Disney animated characters come to life with fun, hands-on exhibits about drawing, personality and voice.

Descend into the cavernous dungeon of a medieval castle and create your very own animated drawings. Interactive exhibits teach how the principles of persistence of vision trick the eye into believing that still images are in motion. While you work, don't be surprised if a famous visitor appears in the magic mirror on the wall.

Turtle Talk with Crush

Gather 'round a "window to the Pacific" for a live chat with the totally tubular turtle from Finding Nemo.

Got a burning question for Crush? This intimate 15-minute conversation is your chance to ask him! Using his high-tech “hydrophone,” Crush can communicate directly with little dudes and dudettes about what’s on their minds.

The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror ™

Lunge up and down into the Twilight Zone aboard a haunted elevator.

Explore the notorious Hollywood Tower Hotel, the onetime haunt of Tinseltown’s rich and famous until a mysterious event forced it to close. Edge past the wrought-iron gates of the abandoned abode and wind through a neglected, weed-filled garden before stepping inside a dilapidated lobby, seemingly frozen in time.
